They have a beautiful deep red color that comes from their nutrient-rich ecosystem! These Red Shrimp are Wild harvested from the icy cold clean waters off the southern coast of Argentina. No farm pens, no artificial feeding, no antibiotics and no genetic modification, just pure nature!

Argentina Red Shrimp require minimal cooking and are beautiful just lightly grilled or sautéed in a pan over low heat. They cook in about half the time of regular shrimp. When cooked they will become opaque and begin to curl up.

The larger sizes are expressed as U/10 or U/12 which means “under” 10 or 12. Small sizes like coldwater cooked and peeled shrimp will have counts ranging from 150/250 to 250/300. Just remember, the smaller the count, the larger the size of the shrimp.
